We recognize what God has placed in our hands and put it to work. A yard. A garden. A skill. A little time. None of it has to be wasted.
Grow
Gardens produce food. They also produce knowledge, relationships, and generosity. We grow all of it and look for ways to make it more useful to others.
Share
The harvest is not the end. Fresh food, practical knowledge, and encouragement move outward to people and communities who can use them.
Doubling Talents
“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness.’” Matthew 25:23 (ESV)
The name comes from a parable Jesus told in Matthew 25. A master entrusted his servants with talents before leaving on a journey. Two of them put what they were given to work. They invested it, grew it, and returned more than they had received.
The lesson was not about money. It was about stewardship. What has been placed in your hands is meant to be used. Developed. Multiplied. And ultimately given in service to others.
That is the principle behind Doubling Talents. We take what God has entrusted to us, and we put it to work for someone else. Then we encourage others to do the same.
Use what you have. Grow what you can. Give it away.
Doubling Talents exists to faithfully use what God has entrusted to us, cultivate it, multiply its usefulness, and give the harvest away, while encouraging others to do the same.
We grow fresh food and share it. We teach practical gardening so knowledge spreads beyond our yard. We demonstrate what is possible on an ordinary residential property so others can ask: what could what I already have become?
The garden is not the point. The multiplication is.
